MSA is a non-profit organization located in Montville, NJ dedicated to teaching and growing the great game of soccer. We offer a fun, recreational Intown program and a more competitve Travel program. Both programs play complete seasons in the Fall and the Spring. Our travel teams compete in the Morris County Youth Soccer Association against other teams from Morris County and various parts of Northern New Jersey.
Once again Montville Soccer will be partnering with Pequannock Township – hosting our fields and team participation in their annual tournament on October 11 & 12, 2014. Partnering MSA receives funds in return for the use of the fields. Whether your travel team is enrolled to play or may be sitting out, your team can still “Get Involved” and be included in the “Give Back” training dollar credit program!
Here’s how the “Give Back” Program works:
Each (2) hour shift covered by a team member will receive 10 Credits. 10 Credits will be valued at $40.00 toward training dollars. (Margin may be slightly higher or lower depending on the total compensated dollars given to MSA from Pequannock at the conclusion of the tournament.)
The two opportunities that are available to your team members are:
Field Marshall - Team Adults and/or (U13- U14 Players)
The F.M. schedule will be fine tuned once Frank Maggiore has the schedule from Pequannock. For now, it represents an approximate number of required volunteers.
Corner Kick (concession stand) – Team Adults and/or (U13-U14 players)
2 volunteers for mornings and late afternoon and 3 volunteers for peak times. (see attached for time slots)
Scheduling is first come, first served – we will offer preference in the following order:
a. Travel Teams participating in the Tourney
b. Travel Teams not participating in the Tourney
Frank Maggiore will handle the Field Marshall Scheduling
